Boxes
05:07
|
|||
Pulled in boxes
Hideout from the crews and spews
Piled-up boxes
Steles rows make it all so stark
Pale old boxes
Dry dirt or dead whale hue
Parked in boxes
Everyday from dawn to dark
It was already seedy before 2019
Morbidity increases with quarantine
[CHORUS]
Empty the stores' shelves
Of TPs and tissue boxes
Release your primal selves
And rot in your boxes
Pray that creeping death spares you over
And forgets the doors of all your boxes
Pulled in boxes
Stocked between blocks, real life legos
Piled-up boxes
Filled with the fear of the worldwide bane
Pale old boxes
Dye the sick's skins and the healthy's egos
Parked in boxes
We got time to embellish our mortal remains
One single virus to shake the whole mankind
One lone roamer and the rest is confined
[CHORUS]
Hear the funeral bell
Echo between the boxes
Hide in your concrete shell
And perish in your boxes
Pray that creeping death spares you over
And forgets the doors of all your boxes
All this time that we will spend
Chatting with the flies
They'll reassure and befriend
We better socialize
Be aware they will attend
With hunger in their eyes
Until our useless life will end
The best thing we could ever realize
[CHORUS]
Try not to get crazy
Going round in your boxes
Wait for it patiently
Lay down in your boxes
Pray that creeping death takes you over
And knocks at the doors of all your boxes

Pull The Trigger
04:26
|
|||
Don't look for me
When you'll get that letter
Don't try and look for me
When I'll get my barrel gun
For I'll be facing you, honey
And for once, I'll make everything better
When you first looked at me
You trapped me forever
Remember when you first looked at me
Landing your eyes on your prisonner
It will be a jailbreak, honey
When I'll pull the trigger
You should have looked after me
A big old whining teenager
Who else could've looked after me
You substitute mother
You'll lose a baby, honey
And for once, you won't be calling me a liar
Don't look for me
When you'll get that letter
In a minute you will face me
Pointing my temple with my barrel gun
It will really be over, honey
It will all be over
When I'll pull the trigger

When uncertainty blocks
The bright tomorrows' view,
That's when you chose to walk
On the tombstone-paved avenue.
When hooded ghosts whisper to you, hogs,
That's when you all walk hand in hand.
And despite the sage-dyed fog
You trust the specter's klan
[CHORUS]
You asked for security
You wallowed into fear
You invoked a past glory
And made a ghost appear
You all gurgle and hound apace
Carcasses for your platters
A national hunters' race
For all the races hunters
Call the mold nibbling
Phantoms for resurgence
And strange fruits will be hanging
Again, in a slow funeral dance
[CHORUS]
You were all offered snake oil
You all swallowed and adhered
And from the blood-watered soil
You made a ghost appear
You can try to flee the lynch-mobs
From the new "übermensch"
But don't you dare to grin or sob
When you will smell the stench
It's too late to light your incense
When you've ignited their pyre
Saying sorry in pretence
Won't save you from the fire
[CHORUS]
You've sealed your miserable fates
Burning crosses will get you speared
For when you trade good-sense with hate
You make a ghost appear

The silent droplets can now dip
In the stagnant water within the weir
Of the squalid squads' footsteps
Some cuthroat there, some riot here
The swaddling mist can now tuck
The distant echoing clinks and cheers
And dive the dives into rot and muck
And plunge the boxed ones into fear
Oh, what a perfect time to strut
For the mighty sire Magguts
[CHORUS]
Pulled back inside
Piled up and tied
Pale old weaks died
Parked on the side
And there he marches while you hide
Inside your boxes where you bide
(All your boxes)
The latent dread will now enwrap
The fools entrenched in their concrete burrows
And leave them all solidely trapped
Into their chest-mangling sorrows
Hear now the drizzling hail frizzle
On the pokerman prowling near
Let him give a morose whistle
And plunge the boxed ones into fear
Oh, it's such a delightful time
For the rotten pantomime
[CHORUS]
Pulled back inside
Piled up and tied
Pale old weaks died
Parked on the side
And there he marches while you hide
Inside your boxes where you bide
(All your boxes)
You all traded your walls for planks
Since, with the highest disdain
You decided to swag and swank
In the face of the global bane
And as each family tree rots
Under corona-fungus's swell
The grimy, wandering Rott-O'-Magguts
Will have another dark tale to tell
[CHORUS]
Pulled back inside again
In your miserable piled-up boxes
Pale old diseased domain
With its subjects parked in boxes
Hail the king of tales, he'll come over
And knock at the doors of all your boxes

Oasis
07:31
|
|||
I, at last, glimpse the oasis
Water sparkling under the breeze
And softly calling me, the thirsty wanderer
No delusion, no heat hypnosis
No more licking the rare dew
Adorned, precious perls, on the amber boulders
Gently bending, caressing my dried-up lips
On the quivering water, on the desert's snip
Delicate dance of my eager tongue
Oh, what a sweet longed-for delight
Water sprinkling on my face, unsung,
Narrowed eyes wouldn't see me under the moonlight
The dunes tremble, the wind mumbles
Over the oasis, my heart crumbles
Lurching on the top of the palm tree
I suddenly see its juicy fruit
Catching my greedy eyes, obsessing me
Knocking my hunger for succulent loot
And here I climb up
No one can make me stop
Desert gently offering me its most delicate nectar to sup
Kissed by the wind, it confesses
I have now acquired the secret knowledge
Sliding back down to the pond I now caress,
Searching, my phalanxes graze the depths edges
Yearning for the one precious deeply engulfed treasure
Ooh, with fingertips do I finally reach the sacred jewel
Underground, the magma suddenly heats the frantic desert
Roaring and moaning melodiously for my very own soul
Lords of the world envy my riches
I, only, am gifted the desert's treasure
Protected in my skull, this voice, so cherished,
Singing its aria, echoed forever
The dunes tremble, the wind mumbles
Over the warm oasis, my heart crumbles
Oasis hidden between the dunes
Ruler of my heart
Glimmering in the night
Allow me your lovely tune
Sing your precious art
Moan under the moonlight

The Ballad Of A Human
04:23
|
|||
I wake up on the shards of porcelain trust
I unconsciously destroyed day by day
Only then do I learn, in guilt and disgust :
Only friends do we betray
And all the pieces shatter my mind,
Settle panic and disarray
I'm stunned, petrified, left there, blind
Once again, I killed the day
[CHORUS]
And the world keeps turning
A little too fast
And humans keep turning
Crazy to the last
I'm sitting here, realising
How human I can be
Another day between me and me
You woke up for years after many bad dreams
Fighting for breathing, finally you thrive
Until another close friend reproduced the scheme
Another monster arrived
Well-hidden behind my kindness and my smile
Basking in your family, I only revived
The pain and the blood, the sickness and the bile
While you're just trying to survive
[CHORUS]
And the world keeps turning
A little too fast
And humans keep turning
Crazy to the last
I'm sitting here, realising
How human I can be
And how much grew the monster in me
And the world keeps burning
A little too fast
And humans keep turning
Monstrous to the last
I'm sitting here, realising
How human I can be
Another day between me and me
Will you forgive me?
Will I forgive myself?
Can I be trustworthy?
Be sure I'll try my best
